The day Goliath fought David! haha
It was interesting for me to revisit this tournament because I never thought about it much other than being mad at myself for not getting in there with the more experienced girls.
Looking back on it I realize that it was an important lesson for me to learn. I still have that first place sword in my trophy room and I feel differently when I look at it now. It was a step, an important step I needed to take to grow as a fighter.
I learned a lot of lessons that day
-Don't watch the girls warm up and assume who is the best
-Always take on the toughest challenge so you can feel proud of yourself
- you never know how an opponent will be until the bell rings
-even the most intimidating girl might be more afraid of you than you realize
-being the biggest girl sucks, but there's not much you can do about it
